Little River at the Cameron pump station The City of Cameron's water supply comes from an intake to the left of the shot here. The maximum capacity is 4.2 million gallons per day. There are restrictions on boating within 200 feet of the intake but this is a nice place to visit the river when you are in Cameron. |

| The 17 lb catfish at the left and the mess of gasper goo
at the right were caught by Buster Stidom of Cameron with a rod and reel
at this spot.
The river was down a bit from the picture above. Question: Do you know why gasper goo have two rocks in their head? If so, send e-mail to let everyone know. Answer: The two rocks in a gasper goo's head are called otoliths. They are the large ear-bones that are characteristic of gasper goo. They are also called lucky stones because on one side there is an "L" shaped groove. |
